Hole number 4 is a short, downhill par 3 of 166 metres. It is stroke hole 11 for men and 13 for women.

From the No 4 tee the green is unable to be seen and anyone waiting to tee off behind other players must wait for the clearance bell to be rung by the group in front, so as to ensure that the green is clear of players. The rise in the fairway is approximately 100m from the green and the fairway has a reasonable slope towards the 3rd fairway on the right.

Aiming to the left side of the fairway will result in a roll towards both the centre of the fairway and the green itself once past the rise. In summer it is common for balls to roll onto and over the back of the smallish green.
